Patch antenna for 2 meter 146Mhz?

I have seen this Idea for a antenna tossed around every now and then but have never seen one in operation! I know its a little big but its nowhere near as big as some of the TV antennas I have seen! I think it would be a good project that would make a neat proof of concept for a 4 element panel antenna for 2 meter! Go big or go home sissy's!!
